The Prairie Dance Exchange culminates from a unique partnership among four major Western Canadian contemporary dance artist/presenters to present each others’ local artists. Our inaugural exchange, co-curated by NDH’s Artistic Director Robin Poitras and DSW’s Artistic Director Davida Monk, will feature the work of Regina-based artists Joelle Arnusch, Robert Regala and Johanna Bundon presented in at Dancers’ Studio West in Calgary, and Calgary artists Hilary Maxwell and Alison Ryan will be featured in NDH’s House of Dance in Regina on June 3 & 4, 2010.

By the spring of 1970 April Wine had relocated from Halifax to Montreal and were making a self-titled album for Aquarius Records. This first album established Myles Goodwyn as a composer with Fast Train receiving much airplay throughout Canada and becoming the main reason April Wine was able to record a second album.
